On a typical day, you can find me being a chef, a referee, crochet pattern designer, an IT person, kisser of boo boo’s, rule enforcer, silly song singer, curator of rocks, student of all things nursing, and enforcer of bed times. And I do it all while up to my eyeballs in laundry.
I decided to go back to school in August of 2020 and I haven’t stopped. I earned my first degree, Associate’s of Interdisciplinary Studies in Health Sciences in July of 2022, a few weeks before beginning my Associate’s Degree Nursing Program. I will be graduating in May of 2024 with my ASN with plans to pursue my BSN and, eventually, my Master’s.
I have always been drawn to arts and crafts. I started crocheting when I was 24 and pregnant with my oldest son, Mason. My mom had tried to teach me when I was younger, but it didn’t take. Now, I barely go a day without working on a project, be it a gift for someone, a fun piece that I’m dying to try, or a design I’ve created.
So, what’s the deal with Sarah & Grace?
Well, this is my little corner of the internet where I get to share my life, hobbies, favorite recipes, and anything I think can help anyone else out. After all, helping others isn’t just what I have chosen for my career, but it’s my calling.
Thanks for taking the time to get to know me and see what this blog is all about!
Love Always,
Sarah
